How we work

Three commitments shape how we run projects. They are not slogans; each one rules out things we might otherwise be tempted to do.

Start where the waste already is. The most durable projects use something a place already has and does not value. That rules out importing a model that worked elsewhere and hoping the context follows.

Small, measured and published. One unit, honestly reported, teaches more than a programme announced across five regions. That rules out expanding before we can say what the first attempt actually yielded — and it commits us to publishing results that disappoint.

Local hands, or it does not last. Equipment only a visiting technician can repair stops working the month after the visit ends. That rules out treating training as the soft, optional part of a budget.
